- Murramarang -

The Polynesian cabins in which we stayed for the weekend

The kangaroos were thinking "What is this guy up to now?"

The beach

The beach in the other direction

The trees

The beach through the trees

The trees are very sparse

The coast is beautiful

A dark-sanded beach

A view toward the Pacific

Grassy field

Waves on the rocks

More waves

I tried some bush grass - it can be eaten for food and water

I've never seen trees like these

Can you see the lizard?

Some of the plants you see here were around when the dinosaurs lived

The waves on the beach

The rocks in some places are hard

In other areas, the rock is eroding away

The cabins from the beach

A crab

Gideon decided to pick up the crab

Waves on the rocks

More waves

Trees beyond the beach

Palm trees

The beach at night

Some stars - can you see any constellations?

The path to the beach

Kangaroos at dawn

The village of Tilba - the one building is a candy store, post office, gas station, auto repair, ice cream parlour, and Internet cafe all in one. It is also in the middle of nowhere.

A view from Tilba

More beautiful landscape

The fog rolled into the trees

The fog, trees, and rocks

We were painted up - the dot above my eye helps me to see more clearly, the dots on the sides of my head help me to understand, and the dot below my mouth is to remember to listen (not talk). We also had dots on our hands for protection

Another shot into the trees

The hike down the mountain

Beautiful pathways

Parrots are wild animals here
