Every morning, I wake up and have breakfast in
the cafeteria (located right in the same building I live). The
food is good, lots of variety including international dishes.
You prepare your lunch at breakfast and take it with you; so if
you miss breakfast, you essentially miss lunch too.

We also have the option of eating outside on the
patio.

The "red room" is our indoor lounge
area where we can watch television.

A view of the area out back of the dorms.

On my way to class, I pass near these train tracks.
Here, you are looking north towards Sydney. A round trip is only
~$10 AU from Wollongong to Sydney and back and is about an hour
in length.

I also walk through a residential area on the
way to campus.

Here's a look back at Wollongong as I am about
to cross the highway to get to campus. The walk takes about 20
minutes and is about the same distance as from my place to campus
at PSU.

If you keep driving straight on this highway,
you will loop around the entire Australian continent. Notice anything
strange about the positioning of the vehicles?

Now we're to campus. This is the main entrance.

And this is the student parking lot (called a
"car park" here). It is located right on campus and
seems to always have spaces available.

These guys are playing ginormous-sized Jenga.
(Thanks Stephanie :-)

This duck (goose?) goes around harassing everyone
for food. It is quite large to see in person.

Here are some flowers from campus.

And here is the Uni Bar. Now if PSU only had a
Hub Pub...

There are lots of streams, ponds, and other water
areas on campus.

Another pond

There is also an outdoor ampitheater.

And lots of green area, too

Here's the library! This is the UoW equivalent
of Penn State's Gateway Library where I worked.

Pathway

Here's a mini-waterfall.

This path heads towards the study abroad/international
students office.

Here are more students studying outside. I don't
know if you can make it out, but there's a girl under that one
tree on her Apple laptop. The entire campus is wireless.

Here's an area looking towards one of the campus
eateries. There are tables for a rather fancy restaurant under
the white canvas coverings on the terrace.

Some species of Australian flora

This building houses a few large lecture halls
in which I have class.

This is the Arts building. I have a class in there
too.

Here's yet another water area.

Instead of "Yield," they say "Give
Way" in Oz. Street signs also say "Give way to pedestrians"
at crosswalks.

Another type of Australian flower

Here's one with berries.

And here's the white version of the above flower.

A walkway by the Informatics building

In some areas, it almost feels like you're in
a rainforest.

Wrong way - GO BACK!!!

Some other flowers

Morning glory?

So I was in a really flowery mood on this particular
day.

More greenery

And finally, more flowers 0:-)
